Do you take in all booking requests?
Not all of them but in very specific situations like: if the chosen style is not my style or I think the preferred design will not be good as a tattoo, or if I think another tattooer will be a better fit.
How much does a tattoo cost with you?
You will have to submit the booking form, so I have all the information I need to give an approximate price.
What should I do before my tattoo appointment?
Make sure not to have the area you are gonna get tattooed sunburned or tanned. Take a shower beforehand and get in clean clothes. Make sure you get a good night’s sleep and eat a good protein based breakfast. Not have taken any drug or alcohol.
Can I get a tattoo if I’m under 18?
If you are under 18, you will have to come to the tattoo appointment with one of your parents.
How can I book an appointment?
You can fill in the booking form here. Or you can do it through the websites of naald en Inkt in Haarlem or kingdom tattoos in Alkmaar.
Once the tattoo is done, do you have any tips to reduce itching?
Applying a recommended tattoo lotion and drinking plenty of water can help. Avoiding tight clothing and staying cool can also minimize irritation.
How long does it take for a tattoo to heal completely?
Full healing can take several weeks to months, depending on the size and complexity of the tattoo. However the initial healing stage takes about 2 weeks.
Can I expose my new tattoo to the sun?
Avoid direct sunlight on your new tattoo. Once healed, apply sunscreen with SPF 50.
Can I exercise with a new tattoo?
It is best to avoid strenuous activities that cause excessive sweating and friction on the tattooed area during the initial healing period.
